Welcome! I hope you enjoy viewing my artwork! I have several galleries for you to browse through. If you have a comment or question, see something you like, or just want to say 'Hello,' you can use either the Contact Me page or just click on my email address.
I'm a retired forester; for a number of years, photography was my hobby. Now I am very pleased to be able to call myself a semi-professional landscape photographer!
My first camera, way back in 1966, was an Exa Exacta, with a Vivitar 135 mm telephoto lens. It was a very basic, inexpensive 35 mm camera, with only manual con
trols no light meter, no autofocus, none of the accessories we find on today’s ‘basic’ cameras! And it used film.
Several years ago, I switched to digital photography, and started out with a Minolta Maxxum 7D SLR. Later, I changed over to a Canon EOS 400D, and even later, upgraded to an EOS 450D.
As mentioned, I'm a landscape photographer - 'shooting' at things of interest in the world around me - such as plants, wetlands, interesting buildings, and our Oregon beaches. However, the list doesn't include subjects like portraits, event photography, and food photography :-) (I can recommend some folks who specialize in those kinds of photos). Both HDR photography and using my extension tubes for closeup photos have been a great deal of fun lately! Once in a while, I hang some photos in a gallery, and usually set up a booth at the Art & Air Festival; I've also put together a coffee-table book of my black & whites at blurb.com.

My photos are available as prints, printed on my Epson SP 7800, using Epson papers and inks. Please view the Service page for more information.
Again, thanks for visiting! Please return soon.
